With the release of a trilogy of EPs alongside Toronto artist Just John, Dom Dias gained notoriety when their track “Soundboi” was chosen by the Toronto Raptors as the anthem for their 2019 playoff campaign that ended in a victory for the team and city at large. Since then Dom has continued to grow as a producer and songwriter – contributing to Shad’s latest critically acclaimed album TAO, releasing his own artist projects, and now debuting with his own volume on the Kingsway Music Library.These fifteen offerings show a playful, adventurous and sometimes darker side of Dom. A wash of percussive and raw instrumentations and sounds, acoustic and electric guitars, analog synths, and moments where his vocals and other organic sounds take shape among the murky air, giving plenty of moments for fans to build from.
